Shreveport man arrested for allegedly using company credit card for personal use

Using your company credit card for personal use can get you arrested, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office

A Shreveport man was arrested for felony theft for allegedly using a company credit card for personal benefit, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Robert Welborn, 29, was booked into Caddo Correctional Center today following an interview with Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Mike King.

The alleged theft was reported to the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force by Welborn’s former employer after it was discovered that he had charged over $4,500 without permission.

Welborn allegedly acknowledged using the card for tools and personal bills.
